Me and the Aussies Oliver and Brian made friends with one of the local surfer, Jonathan. Ends up he was rated top 5 surfers in the country. Anyway he wanted to take us on an excursion up the coast to his home town of Playa Grande and surf his break. It was a fun day shoulder high, and we surfed for a good 8 hours that day. After he bought us a round of beers and took us to his moms house where she cooked us up the BEST HAMBUGER I've ever had. Who would've known that Costa Ricans could cook a better burger than Americans. Great family showing the Costa Rican hospitality that I spoke of.
